A Letter to the Creative Community

So glad you stopped by!

Creativity is such a valuable part of society. It challenges us to think. It heals. It can be a point of connection or contention. It’s a way for us to emote and tell meaningful stories. It can be political. It can be spiritual. And the truth is - we all embody creativity even if we can’t see it or don’t believe we use it in our day-to-day lives.

I have years of experience as a creative-being (dance and writing) and doing life with other creative-beings of diverse mediums. One thing I have learned is when your creativity is easily seen, a way you’ve found belonging or is what pays the bills, it can be easy to tie your identity and worth to what you do or produce. When our creativity is tied to how people and corporations approve or disapprove of us, we can find ourselves on a slippery slope of questioning and morphing who we are, and compromising on our values.

I am here to remind you that while creativity is a part of your DNA, you are more than a creative-being. It’s possible to have a healthy relationship between who you are and what you do/create. It’s possible to be grounded in your identity beyond the hustle and influencer culture. I am here to help you believe this and show up from that place, in the ups and downs of your journey.

Whether through individual therapy, interactive workshops, or other means, I have a heart to show up for the creative community. You have an advocate here that wants you to be healthy.

In your corner, rooting for you!
